Lander USA - manufacturing tube solutions

The acquisition of Tricorn group’s US division in March 2022 gave Lander its first State side manufacturing footprint, with two production plants situated approximately half an hour apart, one in Franklin (North Carolina) and the other in Rabun Gap (Georgia).

The Franklin plant was originally set up in the 1950’s by German garment manufacturer, Van Raalte, with much of the surrounding area being developed to support the factory.

The site had several different uses before Whitley Products started tube bending and manipulation in the 1980’s. It was acquired by Tricorn group in 2013.

The two facilities have many production processes onsite. These include CNC bending for tubes between ø8mm and ø90mm in diameter, bead end forming, robotic and hand welding, induction and furnace brazing, validation testing and a paint line for surface coating products.

With over 120,000 square feet of manufacturing space, the plants serve the off highway, commercial vehicle, and industrial sectors for tube assemblies for use in EGR, cooling, turbo, exhaust, air flow and fuel transfer applications.
