Some employees that started their career at Lander up to 40 years ago, are still working within the business. They started as traditional craft apprentices and have remained to become specialists in their field and into more senior roles.
Since July 2016 we have had nine vacancies within Logistics, Engineering, Quality and Supplier Quality.
We have been able to deploy apprentices into these roles due to the high standard of candidates within the programme that have come forward and applied for the positions advertised.
All of the roles they have been promoted into would usually be recruited for externally.
The company has significant growth plans over the next 5 years and the development journey Lander has undertaken with the apprenticeship programme confirms our commitment to invest in the future skills of the business.
